Delta’s Newest Judge Seized By Kidnappers On His Way To Warri-VANGUARD
WARRI: Kidnappers struck again in Delta State, Tuesday, abducting a newly-appointed judge of the Delta State High Court, Justice Marcel Okoh.
Justice Okoh, a former Director General of Public Prosecution, DPP, in the state, was kidnapped by armed men at Oria-Abraka in Ethiope –East Local Government Area of the state. Okoh had been on his way to the oil city of Warri.
The vacation judge for High Court 4, Warri, Justice Okoh was allegedly trailed from Umunede, along the Benin-Asaba expressway by the armed men in his SUV and overtaken at Oria, along the Agbor-Abraka-Ughelli road, where he was ambushed.
When contacted by Vanguard, the spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, Mr. Charles Muka, confirmed the kidnap of Justice Okoh, adding, “we have recovered his SUV and a manhunt is on for his kidnappers.”
The kidnappers have not yet issued a demand for Okoh's release, it was reported.

It is very clear now that Nigeria security apparatus cannot contain the level and type of crime Nigeria is facing again. Globally, Policing has gone just beyond stop and sachet which is where the Nigeria Police is today. Today Policing is the early collection of criminals information/record and analyze it to come up with a way of preventing crime and not by waiting to fight crime. We need the Israeli IDF or America FBI to help us out of this mess we find ourselves. God help us
